Day 127

Wow! No one warned me that time would fly by so fast once Gavin became mobile... He is crawling all over the place. He is going from crawling to sitting up to pulling up... It has been insane!!! I get no rest anymore!!! I have to turn on cartoons to get him to sit still for a diaper change. Its too cute! I can't wait til Darrell comes home in a few months to try and change his diaper... It is going to be so fun to watch someone else do it for once:) He is getting his top two teeth in right now... It has been a very slow process with these. They are taking much longer to come thru than the bottom ones. But he is taking it in stride. Not me.. I feel bad for him... Well I hope you enjoyed the pictures...

Day 115

Sorry Guys!!! The little guy has been keeping me oh so busy!!!! Between teething and learning to crawl, I have had my hands FULL for the last month... I have been told however everyone loves keeping tabs with my blog, and I promise to keep it updated... Speaking of which I need everyones addresses... I have pictures to send :)
Mister G has his bottom front teeth in and hes working on his two top ones now... The bottom ones were very easy, however the top ones seem to be a bit of a pain for him. I know though, when my top teeth ache its a bummer, and he seems to be doing exceptionally well in my opinion... I remember my neighbors son teething and I wanted to throw him out the window... LOL... Gavin is just not so fond of napping which makes it easy for me to get him to bed at night!!!
He is also working on his crawling skills! He kind of leap frogs... He gets his legs going and forgets about his hands, but he does get himself stuck in the most precarious places... Under the jumperoo, the sofa, and halfway down the hallway!!! It is the cutest thing that I think I have ever seen.
Oh and hes a laugher... He has a fake laugh and then the belly wrenching, tear jerking make you fall out of your chair laugh... I have laughed so hard I have cried, my cheeks have hurt and I may have even tinkled a little bit once... Its just so contagious and sincere...
I hope you enjoy the pictures... I sure did
Love you

Day 91

Uhhhh.... It has been a rather difficult week this week... In a good way though... I can not believe how quick my little boy is turning into a little man... REALLY THE TOOTH FAIRY IS VISITING!!! AND Gavin has been a little angel... His first left central incisor is through, and the only difference that I have noticed is that he is drooling a ton, and he has been biting down on the spoon when I feed him. Oh and he bit my nose this morning...

He took his first big boy bath this evening and loved it. He was so mad when I took him out... He wanted to play with the turtles all night.... His nickname for the past few weeks was turtle because he would lay on his back as if he was a turtle turned upside down... NOW he is turning over as if he means it... To get toys and all that... He also crawls backwards... He gets himself stuck in the most precarious positions... Its too cute...

I cried so hard when he took his bath, and sat up all on his own the whole time... Its so frustrating that I get to witness all the firsts, and Daddy gets to witness it second hand... Its not fair and I hate that he doesn't get to see all the amazing things that I do first hand. I dont like telling him the next morning when he gets online what happened the night before... I feel so guilty that he isn't here witnessing all this amazing stuff.. I am not quite sure what will change that fact, but I can't imagine my life without the two of them... One here, one away both making me the happiest girl in the whole world... Both my boys are the most amazing.. I love my Big Bubba and my Little Bubba so much and they both mean the world to me... I pray for both of them daily... Wishing the best on both of them...

Day 76

Oh my goodness... How things have changed in the last few weeks... Gavin is now getting more and more active... Sleeping less and playing more (that would be the reason for the lack of posts) I am trying to get used to his new schedule. SO far so good though. He wakes up around 9 now which means I get to sleep in. He takes about 4 hours of naps during the day and sleeps for 11 hours at night.

His spitting up is getting way better, due to the fact I started giving him baby food. I knew he was ready when he was sitting on my lap while I was eating a taco. He reached up when I was going to put in my mouth, grabbed it and put it in his mouth...He sure has come a long way with his eating. I have tons of pictures where all he would do is spit it right back out at me... Now you can't get him to spit any out. He loves squash and pears.

He is mostly sitting up on his own now. He does like to fall over at times. He loves being on his tummy now. And he is starting to lunge. Its so cute. He scared the living daylights out of himself the first time he did it though... Oh and he found his vocal chords for sure. He screaches and screams when he gets super excited. He's learned to shake his head no when I ask if he wants to take a nap. And he has been babbling Dadadadadada and Mamamamama.

Well since I haven't been on for a while, I figure I will give you guys a bunch of new pictures to look at.

Day 55

Oh no!!! Gavin is now too big for his carseat... I was asleep on Tuesday morning on the couch. Around 7 am, which is super early for Gavin to be waking, I hear him screaming. Not whining but full out screaming. So I shoot up immediately, run into his room. There is no baby in the car seat. He somehow slid him self out of it and was on his back in the crib. I swear I almost had a heart attack. I picked him up and felt the carseat and it was cold... I felt where he had been laying on the crib and it was warm... So he had to have slid out in his sleep and when he woke up was completely confused and scared. I don't blame him though. So we are working our way down from the huge incline of the car seat. Not a very fun process to say the least. But I am sure he will get used to it eventually.

I took Gavin to the doctors on Wednesday. He is spitting up ridiculous ammounts. And while I know all babies spit up, it seems to hurt him when he does. He cries when he spits up. So I have a follow up tomorrow. The doctors think it is a virus... I think its reflux. I guess we will see when we go. But the good thing out of all of this is that I get to see just how much he is growing...

Well thats about all I have for today

Day 50

Well the teething fairy(monster) has come to visit. Gavin is getting his first two teeth. Right lower canine and top front. The canine is already through the skin and poking out a little, the top front is still kinda just hanging out. He is MISERABLE, full of drool, and just not happy. I took him to the doctors the other day, and he is now 26 inches long and a little over 17 pounds... Wow... He is growing so fast!!! We tried green beans today. He seemed to like them, although you wouldn't be able to tell from the picture. He was covered in them. That was only because he kept laughing at mommy while she was making funny faces at him.

Well the rolling over is getting better and better. Now he can get himself up on his hands and knees and rock... So I know its just a matter of time until I have to baby proof the house. Then I will really have my hands full. He is just amazing to watch grow and do new things... I never really knew that I could be so amused by drool, and gas and his laugh. He laughed yesterday for a full 10 minutes straight. Anytime I would try to say something he would laugh, I would laugh and it would make him laugh harder. So needless to say, I was in tears on my front porch just laughing my butt off. All the neighbors could hear him, so they came and joined in. It was quite amusing for all of us.

Well I don't really have too much else to report.
